We had several Tornado Warnings issued very early this morning across SE and E OK.
So far, one confirmed tornado has been reported in Ada. An EF1 with 105 mph winds.

There were several damaging wind reports scattered from Oklahoma to N Texas due to the storms.
We will get more damaging wind today as the storm system moves through.
Remember that Summer is the "flash flooding and damaging wind season" across the country. While most areas stay dry, the few that do get rain can get too much. Stagnant or slow steering currents and weak wind shear contribute to the outcome.
