70 families were in the direct path of the EF1 Owasso tornado this morning that use my weather app, ATsWeatherToGo. Note the pink track polygon. I hope everyone is okay!!!
Jenny was kind enough to share with me the app alerts she received this morning. I want you to pay attention to the Dangerous Storm Approaching received at 6:20am with a BTI(tornado index) of 6 and then the official Tornado Warning at 6:39pm. The tornado just missed her at 6:42am. This means my app gave her 22 minutes of lead time to get the family to safety! The tornado warning only gave her 3 minutes!!! 🎯
